Hello, everyone. Tonight I added new DVD screencaps from episode 6 of Robin Hood season 1, “The Taxman Cometh,” to replace the old ones. If anyone has any recent Lucy news or new pictures, please let me know!
Please beware of season 2 spoilers. Here is an interesting article from UPI.com about Richard Armitage’s thoughts on the season 2 finale of Robin Hood.
British actor Richard Armitage admits he lost some sleep when he heard his character was going to kill Lady Marian on the TV series, “Robin Hood.”Sir Guy stabbed Marian, played by Lucy Griffiths, in the show’s Season Two finale, which aired Saturday night on BBC America.
“It gave me sleepless nights,” Armitage said in an “Inside Look” segment that aired during the finale’s commercial break. “I just didn’t know how I was going to play that scene. I didn’t want him to want to kill her. I wanted him to kill the thing that was coming out of her mouth - the thing that she was at that moment. All of his hope for his future was absolutely exploding into nothing. I think that just completely destroys somebody in a moment.”
Thank you, Katie, for re-sending the link to the Kaledonia Pub pictures. We had one photo up before, but now there is another one from the same set. The pub was a favorite place of the Robin Hood cast while filming in Budapest, Hungary. The two images are in the gallery.
In other, Robin Hood news, it has been confirmed that Robin Hood himself, Jonas Armstrong, is leaving the show after season 3. You can read an article here. For those of you still watching even after the unfortunate season 2 finale, an explosive season 3 finale is apparently in the works!
Hello, everyone! I finally found what fan art I saved after the server problem and added them to the gallery. They were made by Leah and be. Thanks very much to them. I also added two Robin Hood season 1 promotional images and two season 2 episode stills. Thank you to Leah for sending those in. As well, I will be switching the ad codes very soon because of new hosting requirements. I was wondering if you could let me know if they are slow to you as well as they seem to be loading slowly for me. Have a good day and enjoy the art and pictures.
A friendly plug! If you are interesting in watching Merlin, a show filling in the Doctor Who/Robin Hood slot, head on over to the new forums. The show comes out this fall.
Thanks, Alex, for letting me know that you can vote for Lucy and Robin Hood for Best Actor and Best Drama at the National Television Awards website. So please head on over there and vote away. Support Lucy! Voting ends in August and awards are presented in October.
Leah re-sent DVD screencaps that were lost. They are from the Robin Hood season 2 DVD featurette, “Beneath the Hood”. She also sent a few promotional images and episode stills. Big thanks to her for donating them and please visit her group for Robin Hood, A clue? No! Regarding site news, I added a section dedicated to past layouts if anyone is interested.
Even more screencaps for you! This time from episode 5 of season 1. I also added a few episode stills from season 2, thanks to English Rose! They were there before some of our files got deleted so I decided to re-add them.
Hello again. Today I screencapped Robin Hood season 1 episode 4. I deleted the old screencaps that were in the gallery and replaced them with the better DVD ones. I even missed some Marian scenes when I screencapped last, so there are plenty more for people to see! As for the website, the new layout is now fully up and functioning. Just about every page is updated or fixed. If you stumble across any errors, please let me know! I am excited to finally have a the comment feature back, so feel free to use it!
